I don't much expect this to be read by other humans, I'm just setting up Zola with some placeholder content and thinking out loud as I do it. As of this writing, this is pretty far from being in a form that I would normally consider appropriate for uploading to the public Internet...
I'm in the process of deploying Zola to Netlify. Hopefully that will run smoothly. I was impressed at how easily Netlify picked up on how to build an old project with a grunt-based config, without needing any prompting at all. We'll see how this goes.
Update: it all looked so promising, up to the point where I actually try to navigate to a post. Looking at the links, I see that it's because they're absolute, pointing to zola-test.local - I suppose that is understandable. It does mean that I'm not really going to be able to test the configuration without actually moving the domain over... but since there was nothing there on the old one, that's not such a bad thing.
What kind of content do I actually want here, other than the kind of content that I just type to test the software?
